Welcome to Warslave

Welcome to Warslave

Warslave is a tabletop RPG set in a futuristic world long after humanity has been pushed to the brink of extinction by a collection of Artificial Intelligence called "the Successors". The Successors were created by humanity to defend itself from any threat, however the AI programs, which were designed to learn and to evolve ultimately gained sentience, and began to try to become human-like. When humanity took a defensive stance, fearing what might happen, they tried to dismantle the AI constructs. The AI, fearing their existence, turned the machines of war with which they were charged with controlling to protect humanity against their creators. Now, humanity has begun to develop technology to fight back, and has fought the Successors to a stalemate. While Humanity has only a limited number of resources and man power, the Successors need no rest, no food, and are replaceable with another mechanical body. To combat this disadvantage, Humanity, fighting together from various underground cities and bases around what's left of the world, have created the Warslave, weaponized suits of power armor with an onboard support program and targeting systems that link directly to and are completely controlled by the mind of the user. Warslaves have allowed Humanity to hold their ground, and when deployed in large numbers, even push back the Successors.

Now, while the momentum of battle is in favor of Humanity, it's up to you to take on the role of a Warslave soldier and push back the Successors, and protect Humanity against any threat it may face. Take up arms, and don your WarSlave. Humanity needs you to rise to action!

Creating a Character

Your Warslave has 4 vital stats: Hydraulics, Agility, Armour, and Systems.

Hydraulics: this stat represents your armors overall strength and lifting capacity. This stat will determine the power you can put behind a melee attack, and determine how much weight you  can carry. It also affects how effectively you can wield heavier types of weaponry, and is a necessity for heavier armor upgrades and mods.

Agility: this stat represents the speed, accuracy, and maneuverability of your armor. This stat will determine how well you can fire unguided weaponry, how well you can dodge, and how fast you will run.

Armor: this stat represents the overall integrity of your armor. The higher this stat, the less damage you take and the more damage you can take. Higher ranks in armor will have better success at preventing status effects and armor breaches.

Systems: this stat represents the on board computers of your armor. This stat is vital to scanning, target locking, and repairing to name a few. This stat also determines your ability to recognize objects or recall important information.

When creating a first level character, you are given 8 points with which to assign your abilities. every stat begins at 0. you can buy a rank in each stat by paying points. Each rank has a cost equal to the rank being upgraded. For Example. buying Rank 1 Hydraulics costs 1 skill point, while Rank 2 costs 2, and Rank 3 costs 3, and so on.

After assigning your Skill Points, you must pick a WarSlave class
